1. Of course the most important thing is to treat everyone with respect. Any member found to be consistently acting in a disrespectful manner will be deleted. This included but is not limited to: harassing another member either on a board or via pms, arguing or insulting another member, and deliberately breaking the rules. There'll be a three strikes rule. The first offense brought to the attention of an admin will receive a verbal warning. The second will receive a temporary ban. Upon the third offense, the offender will be permanently banned from the board.
2. Adult content is not allowed on site, as it goes against proboards policy. Feel free to use another means to hold these roleplays (ie. skype, other form of communication.) Similarly, no adult art is allowed for use as avatars or posted otherwise on the site. Adult language is permitted but don't get carried away.
3. Replies on threads must be written clearly using proper spelling and grammar. They also must be more than a sentence in length. It isn't any fun to type out a well thought out detailed introduction/reply only to receive a hastily written sentence in reply, please respect the work someone's put in to roleplaying with you by putting in a comparable amount of work yourself.
4. Before posting in any other boards, please complete a character creation application, submit it in the application board, and wait for it to be approved by an admin. You must be approved before posting. If your application is unfinished, please put "Unfinished" at the front of your thread name.
5. Each person is only allowed one character as of this time. Remember quality>quantity where character creation is concerned. Make a really interesting, well developed character. If you really can't get into the character you've created, you can change once. After that, you must stick with the character you've created.
6. To keep things easy, make you username your character's name.
7. Please don't make your character a Mary Sue or overpowered. Everyone has flaws and so should your character. By the same token, everyone also has strengths. If your application needs tweaking, an admin will reply with what needs to be adjusted.
8. No god-modding. Ie. you can't make other people's characters do anything. You can't kill someone else's character. For example, you couldn't say [Name] punched him in the face and broke his jaw. While he was down, [Name] kicked him in the ribs." You would have to do something such as "[Name] swung at his jaw." Also, while on the topic, fighting must be mutual, you cannot simply attack someone's character out of the blue for no reason. That's rude.
9. All roleplaying must be in paragraph format. Period.
10. When starting a thread, specify whether it will be "Open" or "Closed" (ie. between you and another character who's already been decided on.) That way other members know if they can post in your thread.
Any questions can be sent via pm to an admin.
Have fun, and enjoy your stay!
