Thank goodness it was the daytime, or she'd be to scared to be wandering here. But she needed to be brave, or how would she ever find clues? The small pegasus walking along the old ruins, searching if for any hint of what it was about and if it was possible...any trace of Sugar. She didn't know why she looked anymore. Mabye to keep herself going? Keep herself with a goal day to day than to suffer the truth. A twisted form of denial as she traced her hoof along one of the walls. Pivot enjoying this as if it were a walk as the large dog bound about around the ruins.
" Pivot, don't go to far. " Murmuring quietly as Cherry barely paying the dog mind. She wasn't to fond of the dark, only managing to brave these places during the day. The forst included as she made sure to keep track of the sun that slowly went down the horizon. Sighing for a small break as she dug into her rucksack. Pulling out a small notebook as she opened it to look over her findings, so far only one clue was odd mark on the wall. That was the only sign she could figure from this place and it frustrated her, she didn't even know what it ment! How was she going to find clues about Sugar Star at this pace? It made her wish she had a detective mark rather than a ice skating one.

She found herself here at these old crumbling ruins. Having just moved here about a month ago, about the third different place this summer, as town-hopping isn't easy for this unicorn. Whether it was financial issues or something else entirely, she always found herself packing up and moving again. But she had managed to stay here in this quaint place for a good month. A month stable. It gave her hope. Though, today, she had decided to explore a bit. Finding herself a little lost and here, at this ruin.
The building in disrepair didn't scare her, with the age it seemed to stack on with vines encircling the bricks, she found it had that certain charm. She actually wandered inside, just a little, to gaze around. The peace and quiet soothed her mind, and she thought that it might be nice to read here during a sunny and bright day. Though, her ear flicked when she heard what sounded as if a twig snapping under hooves. She looked around cautiously, wondering who was there. Quietly, she rounded a corner, to find the source. Spotting a small pegasus with a rather large dog. Pixy heard the mare speak lightly to the animal, but let it free roam anyway. The dog almost instantly catching the unicorn's scent and catching her in its sight. Pixy, a little intimidated by this dog, froze up. Unsure how the dog would react to her. (I hope this okay. :u)

Pivots ears perked, the large dog ignoring its owner even further as he heard the sounds of moment. His head darting over to the scent of something new as he caught the look of a new friend. Tail thumping loudly against the ground as the big lug just stared for a moment. Before making a mad dash at the newfound pony. Cherry barely taking anymind to what he was doing until it was too late. Noticing the running dog and stranger in the distance as she gave a flutter of her wings.
At first defensive over being spied on, suspision quickly coming over her. Though at least pushed herself to come over to aid the pony from Pivots loving onslaught. " Pivot...Pivot down! " Grabbing hold of the hound as best she could and pulled him back a bit enough to get him to at least sit. Stilling him enough to look at the green haired mare and examine her closely. Eyes narrowed suspiciously as she did so, " Are you spying on me...? " Her tone hushed as if anyone else could also be around to listen.

Pixy squealed as the dog rushed to her. She's not exactly used to big canines. She likes them, but sudden things like this made it hard to consider owning one. The huge animal almost threw the startled unicorn off balance, but thankfully the pegasus saved her. She chuckled as the dog finally got off and gave a look of gratitude and amusement to the other mare. Though, at her accusation, her ears folded back, her demeanor turning to her usual meek and nervousness. "N-No, I was just exploring. I-I actually thought I was alone.." She hoped the pale mare could see the honesty in her eyes. "I, I like old places, like this.." She admitted through stuttering. Mentally, she took note of this girl's face and general features, already planning in her head that maybe she should avoid this particular one in the future. Though, this train of thought made her a little sad, she never liked to turn away ponies, even strangers.

Cherry had to admit, it was REALLY hard to not give a giggle to the squeal that the green haired mare gave when Pivot gave chase. Stiffling it to keep her serious face on as she came over pulling the dog off her. Noticing the meek and nervousness from her accusation hit the the mare as she began to regret her quick shot. Her face softening through the mares stutter as she gave a glance to the side shamefully. Before turning back to the mare to help her up gently before quickly stepping back from the short contact. " ....Its fine sorry...just...not use to others being around here at this time. Kids yknow tend to just come here at night to scare eachother. " Stepping back again as she walked a little away looking at one of the walls again at the symbols. " Do you? You'd be one of the first I met. " Her tone stayed hushed, she didn't speak loud much. Figuring the mare could barely hear her anyways as Cherry soon dug a little again at the wall. As if trying to press things as if from a cheesey mystery novel.

The unicorn was taken aback slightly, as this mare was being harsh but helped her up anyway. She figured that maybe the small mare regretted her accusation. Pixy, at least, hoped this was the case. It made her feel less nervous. When fully standing, she brushed some dirt off her elbows, and watched as the pegasus took an interest at a particular wall. The noise from her pale hooves hitting against the still sturdy wall was making it a little hard to hear her soft voice. But Pixy managed to listen. She glanced awkwardly at the dog, who was looking between its master and her excitedly. Briefly she considered reaching out to pat its head, but decided against it, as she didn't know if its owner would allow her in the first place.
She turned her head back up to gaze at the pegasus, still digging at the wall. The sight looked a little silly to her, but she didn't giggle or anything. "Kids are silly like that." She agreed, "But, uh, yeah, I actually find these ruins.." She looked up at the old building, searching for the right word, "..Enchanting, I guess. Well, maybe not after dark.." After a brief pause, she focused on the other mare again. "So, um, if you don't like places like this, why are you here?" At realizing how nosy the question was, she became a bit unsettled again, "I-I mean, if you don't mind me asking, that is.."

Still picking at the wall she was a bit frustrated none of the symbols caved in like in the movies and books she read. Some mystery this was going to be, it wasn't even a bit interesting so far. Walking a little back to take a look at the walls overall, Pivot whining for attention as Cherry glanced a look at him than to the meek mare. Moving back towards another part of the wall to dig again pressing at the symbols like a child playing a puzzle game. Ears perking up as the mare spoke up.
Suprised the girl even still stuck around with how cherry accused her so, nodding to agree with her for the most part. " Its why I come in the day...." Speaking a little more clearer as she glaned over. Unsettled with being asked what she was doing as it took her a bit of time to answer. The pause akward between them before Cherry simply gave a small shrug. " I wanted...to find out the mystery of this place I guess..." It wasn't EXACTLY a lie...just a small stretch of truth. Not that it mattered anyways as she fluttered a bit upward to stand atop of the wall. Taking a look around the area. " Did you come here for that too...? "

Her face flushed a little as she watched her flutter to the top of the wall. It was a type of blush that meant she was embarrassed. She didn't mean to make this mare uneasy with her question, she was just curious. She mentally scolded herself for asking. Though, she was a little relieved when she got a question back, just thankful that another awkward silence wouldn't fill the air. "I, I actually moved here recently. I didn't know there was a mystery about this place. I was just exploring a little and found myself here." She confessed, offering a timid smile. But she suddenly remembered she never exchanged introductions with this pony. And being polite, she decided to at least let this mare know her name. "Oh, and, my name's Pixy Stix. Just in case..you were wondering." She finished shyly.

Cherry simply ignored the flush of her face, feeling a bit more guilty for causing such akwardness that she easily did. Walking along the top of the wall as she examined the area around her. Being sure to keep track of the suns location and to leave when it got to low. Thins got...spooky here at night. As if ghosts would pop out, and demons would drag you away. Listening in though when the mare spoke up, taking note of that she was new to town as a sign that she was less guilty than others. " I see....It is a easy place to spot isn't it? Um...welcome to town. "
Giving a small glance to the mare, a pitiful welcome but she tried none the less. Blinking a bit more with softer eyes as she introduced herself. " Oh, well I suppose I did. Can't call you just stranger could I. " Hopping down from the wall as she walked over a little more, this time a bit more calmy than her earlier attempt. " I'm called Cherry Flip, I should warn though to not uh...stay here to late this place is...odd at night. " Giving a glance around to the old ruins, the mare was timid like this she wouldn't wanna be here at all at night.

She smiled at the more friendly tone in the other girl's voice. And she appreciated and acknowledge the little welcoming, even if it was a little pitiful. At the the mention of the place becoming scary at night, Pixy's gaze looked toward the sun. Or at least, in the direction of it, as from ground level the sun was obscured by trees. She tried to gauge the time in her head, but gave up quickly. Looking back at Cherry, she smiled, "Well, it's nice to meet you. And I could see how this place could get frightening." She then gestured to the canine Cherry had brought with her. "But with your dog, you'd be safe. Me, though, I'd probably have to make a mad dash outta here." She chuckled nervously, trying to make light of the situation. Or to simply just be friendly.

Cherry couldn't help give a faint chuckle at that, looking down at Pivot who wagged his tail happily on the ground as she gave him a raised eyebrow look. " Oh don't be fooled...hes as much of a coward as I am. " Walking over to sit next to the hound and pet him a little. It seemed she might have to save her exploring another time. Though at least a newcomer didn't know why she did the odd things she did. Giving a nod to agree with how creepy this place could be. Though was humored by how calm Pixy seemed to try to act around her.
" I would likely do the same...though it seems I can't figure out this place even if I tried.." Walking a bit away back towards the walls as she looked them over again. It was only these walls that gave hints, at least from what she could see. There wasn't much left to this old place, and growing up didn't even give her any light only that something once stood here and not a single pony knew...or at least told.

It was a little shocking to hear that her dog was a scardy-cat. "A big dog like that? Really?" Pixy never would've guessed. If it wasn't so friendly, it probably would scare her a lot more, but she didn't want to admit that. Instead, she considered the other mare's next statement, and moved to a wall herself. At first gazing along its height, and then down at the floor. Well, as much of a floor that was left. It was covered by old leaves and water damage from rain, fitting for a ruin. With a hoof, the unicorn brushed away a few leaves and moved a stray brick or two. "If only things could be like books. It'd be a lot easier to figure this place out, then." She was referring to how in most mystery novels the character usually always figures out a puzzle quickly. And then sighed, "It's too bad that this place probably doesn't actually have something to figure out."

Cherry nodded, " Usually the biggest ones are...." Amused a little by that as Pivot couldn't have a single clue what they talked about. Only caring that the attention was on him and he enjoyed every second of it. Taken a bit aback though as the mare joined her by the wall. Looking at it herself over as she watched from the corner of her eye as she brushed away some leaves. Agreeing silently if only it were like a book as she couldn't help but nod again without thinking. " I always thought it did...just the right person needed to. I dont think thats us though..." Giving a soft sigh after that as she gave a small walk away turning a corner on one of the walls to look near the center what seemed like a floor still was embedded in the ground. Stone lining the ground in a small pattern as she focused on it for a short while. " Mabye it was just a home though...afterall..."

She chuckled a little when the pegasus pointed out that most likely, if there was a mystery, neither of them would be the ones to figure it out. It was probably true, though, at least for Pixy. All the unicorn did was read most of the time, it's not like she can suddenly be an expert detective. "That wouldn't surprise me, honestly." Pixy simply stated, looking over her shoulder to gaze around. "Maybe a fire took this place out?" She offered, half talking to herself, despite Cherry turning around a corner. She admired the unknown history this old place had, and with the evening lighting, it cast an eerie feel about the ruin. But in way, since it wasn't dark yet, it was a fun kind of eerie. The unicorn turned her head, to look out what used to be a spot for a window. Finding herself unable to see through the brush of the woods. Definitely might be an interesting place to read during the day.

Well at least the unicorn agreed with her, the two of them at full understanding neither would really be able to figure out this place. Thus the place becoming not much help to cherry. Mabye she should start with smaller mysterys? Though at least considered Pixys idea of a fire. It was possible even with stone. Looking for traces of any ashes or scorch marks at least when she turned the corner. " Mabye " Trotting along the old floor as Pixy explored her own side. Pivot now joining the girls as he gave a loud bark running after Cherry. Cherry paying no mind as she traced a hoof along the ground. Lifting it to see if anything came up.
Why she kept looking she wasn't sure. After all she did just tell Pixy that there was no way she could figure out this mystery. Already Pixy had more ideas about it than Cherry did.
