A new day with new possibilities, and Dixie was outside her shop. She puffed the flowers and made sure they looked just right as she was about to open for a new day. The flower pots where filled with daffodils and red tulips that aunt Violet had bought for her the day before. They looked good with the white, little house and looked nice and fresh when they bathed in the morning sun rays. Dixie took three steps back and looked at the flowers for a moment with a smile on her face. 'Perfect!' she thought to herself and trotted intside of the shop. She saw her aunt cleaning up some dust from the windows and the counter by the door. She gave her a smile as she moved away the tools and sighed lightly. "Are you ready to open?" She asked, walking slowly over to the door. Aunt Violet was responsible for preparing the 'open' sign and making sure it looked welcoming, she liked to prepare things like meetings and openings so she was in charge with the finishing touches before a yoga class or preparing the room for another patient. Dixie smiled as response and walked behind the counter, looking at her aunt with a motivated expression. "Yes"
The first yoga session with a group of older ponies was over and Dixie's aunt walked them to the door and talked to them for a bit before they left. Dixie had just cleaned up the room when she walked back out in front of the house and saw that someone had kicked the flower pots down again. She frowned and sighed disappointedly, thinking it was those annoying teenagers down the road. "Aunt Vi! Could you go to the florist to get new tulips, this time the pot broke and the flowers are ruined" she said. It was a big, dark blue one that she had gotten as a move-inn gift from her father. She didn't want to throw it away so she started picking up the little pieces, they where spread everywhere in front of the house and it looked like a mess.

Pixy, taken to exploring this quiant place, had found herself wandering around. She was just normally following the sidewalk, liking the feel of the morning breeze and the easy temperature. Today was supposed to be hot, as the unicorn heard and it was granted, considering it was summer. But the morning was always cool at first. She was actually on her way to the town's pride of the little cafe downtown, but stopped short when she saw a small group teenagers kick someone's flower pot down in the distance. From what she could see it was a pretty piece, too, a nice shade of blue that was personally Pixy's favorite. But even though she registered as what the teens were doing as rude, she didn't speak up, it just wasn't her nature to. And yes, she felt bad for it.
She considered crossing the street to avoid these delinquents but decided not to as when they spotted her, they dashed off with their tails between their legs, caught in the act and feeling guilty. Or perhaps it was a mistake. You never really knew with hormonal raging teens. Though the owner had come out after a few more feet Pixy had walked, and stared at the broken pot for a few moments, and bent to pick them up. As Pixy neared, she decided to stop and help. As she wanted to be nice and possibly cheer up this pony's day. Pixy knew she'd at least feel bummed if it was her flower pot that had broken. "I saw the teens that did this, but from how far away I was, I'm not sure if it was an accident or not." The unicorn said as a make-shift greeting. As if that statement would excuse her from throwing herself in this pony's business and helping pick up shards.

Hearing a strangers voice, Dixie turned around to see a mare with green mane standing there. Saying what she had seen, Dixie stood up and gave a sigh. "Well, this is the second time they have done it. At first I tough it was an accident, but now I don't really know.." she said with another sigh and noticed that it was still quite a few shards around the place, she was a slow cleaner and made sure to get every piece so she hadn't gotten more then a few together on the tray. Dixie looked at the time and noticed that she really didn't have time for this, and even thou she found it rude she just had to turn to the mare and ask. "Umm.. would you- would you mind helping me out a little bit? I have to fix some other things soon and I can't get the pieces up quick enough" she said with a slight smile while looking at her. She didn't think she had seen her around before, but she didn't look like a threat so she didn't bother with worrying about it.

"Oh, sure." Pixy nodded, bending down to help with the pieces. The unicorn did notice the sign when she approached and realized that this mare must be very busy. Was she the helper? She looked young, but Pixy tried not to be too awkward and didn't stare at her face too much. "If there's anything else you might need help with, I'd be happy to offer." The unicorn smiled back as she shuffled shards onto the tray like this mare had done. She mostly used her hooves to do this process, and that might've struck anyone else as odd, considering her horn never flared up with magical aura. Pixy barely noticed, using magic to help clean never even crossed her mind.

She noticed that the mare cleaned like she did, but just watched from the corner of her eyes. She saw that she was a unicorn and wondered why she wouldn't use her magic. She herself didn't have any kind of magic to use but they both gathered the shards the same way. Dixie got some of the other shards as well and not had all of the smaller ones on her tray and the bigger ones in the remaining pieces of the flower pot. She put the tray and the pot by the door before she turned around to her with a smile. "Thank you for helping, I'm not good with cleaning up things like shards or cleaning dust so I need some help" she said and gave her a small nod. She though about what the mare had said about that she could help her if she needed it for a moment, biting her lip while she though and then looked at her again. "My aunt is usually the one who helps me tidy up the place before lectures and patients.. do you mind helping me out a bit? Theres only two rooms who needs to be cleaned and my aunt is at the market, she often uses quite a lot of time" she said with a small chuckle. She hoped that she didn't seem to forward or trying to take advantage of what she said so quickly and easily.

Pixy did offer, so of course she didn't mind. She smiled, trying to reassure her, "It's no problem. I can do that. I'm Pixy Stix, by the way." She figured she shouldn't enter someone's home or building without introducing herself. She considered that to be rude, because then it wasn't a true invitation. But Pixy caught her word choice and found it impressive that in truth, it was this other mare who ran the business. She looked about Pixy's age, and she couldn't believe someone could do this so young. The unicorn was struggling with paying the bills all by herself to begin with. To run a business as well? Pixy wouldn't fare well. She admired this mare for her ambition. "You just have to show me the rooms that need cleaning." She said, trying to reassure her that it was okay.

She smiled big at her answer. "Thank you! I'm Dixie Dove, the owner of this business as you can see on the sign" she said with a small giggle and turned around. She picked up the tray with the shards and walked towards the entrance door. They stepped inn and she put the tray on the counter for now and she would remove it later, there where three doors visible from the entrance door and Dixie headed for the middle one. Opening the door, it was quite the mess in there. Pillows from the couch laying everywhere and the table was flipped and the candles that had been on it where on the floor. All this together with some dust. "As you can see, the last patient I had was new and didn't really cooperate with the first method I used. The first anger management class is always a bit like flipping a coin, it either works like you want or it goes wrong and has to be worked on" she said with a sigh and walked inn, taking out two mops from the small closet in the corner and handed one to Pixy. She got a bucket of water and smiled at her. "Just ask if theres anything you need for this or if somethings on your mind" she said and started to move her mop around on the floor.

Pixy followed after the other mare into the house. Trying to be polite and not gawk around too much. She always had an urge to look around when someone had a nice home. Though, she just stepped after Dixie when she lead her to a certain room. She took a quick look around the room, and it was a mess. Dixie wasn't kidding. She took the mop when offered. The table being flipped seemed to be a bit much on the unknown pony's part, to her. The unicorn went and flipped it to stand on its legs instead before going back to the other mare and helping clean the floors with the mop. Using her hoof and the mop's length to push far against the floor. Sweeping along with the earthpony, and it went by faster than it would've than by oneself. She felt good for helping out, and would sometimes put the mop down to straighten something else out. Like picking up the pillows and candles and placing them in their proper places.
She was thinking of ways to make small talk with this other girl, but her mind was drawing a blank as she cleaned. Until finally, "So, is your job always this chaotic?"

Dixie put the last curtain to the side and in place before turning towards Pixy with a thoughtful look on her face, she wasn't sure how to put it since she could say both yes and no as the answer to the mares question. "Well, the patient I had yesterday that caused this mess is somepony I just started having classes with. In anger management classes, the first thing I do is to try my usual theory to try and find out what makes them mad or why they get angry so quickly. And for that, it's only 50% chance for it to work or not and in this case it didn't. It has happened before, but I believe that this pony will be hard work despise it's background. I'm not allowed to say more about my patient, but I think you get my point" she said and gave a smile at the end before going over to picking up some flowers that had fallen over.

The unicorn nodded, she understood the rules of confidential. She briefly wondered what kind of things counselors went through to help ponies, Pixy never talked to one directly. She also wondered if this type of program could help her mother, but she banished the thought. She didn't want to think about silly sad stuff when she was in the company of someone. Of whom she was helping out. That would be counter-productive. At least, she thought so. "Right." Pixy replied, and watched the mare pick up the flowers. Taking one more quick glance around before chuckling a little, "You sure do like flowers." She commented. Noticing how flowers were virtually placed everywhere, which gave the place a nice vibe and look. But even Pixy didn't have this many.

Dixie looked up at her and blushed a bit with a smile and chuckled as well. "Yeah, they fascinate me and kind of helps me relax. They don't do much anyways so it's not hard work to have them like a pet would" she said jokingly and looked over the room again. It looked better and was clean enough for Dixie to say herself done. "Looks like it's done here" she turned towards Pixy and gave her a warm smile. "Thank you so much again for helping me out, it means a lot" she said and took her hoof, shaking it in thankfulness as she smiled at her.
