Low did not like the way that Midnight's usually cocky expression became fraught with worry. He also didn't like how Spirit seemed to have also been infected by this same worry. There was obviously something in that cave that neither had expected, and Low had a good feeling that it wasn't going to be lost bunny rabbit. Maybe one with sharp, pointy teeth? He wasn't about to assume that such eldritch horrors as a small, white, fluffy carnivore didn't exist.
He began mentally going through a list of all the combat spells he knew. Unfortunately, the list was rather small, but he did know a few that Midnight taught to him a while back. Of them, he recollected the mental and physical shield spells. He had never had the chance to really use these spells, so while they could possibly keep out such enemies as the aforementioned killer bunny, they would would not last long against much larger foes, say a possessed ungulate with knowledge of martial arts.
The mental shield spell may also come in handy, but he could only cast one at a time. His own face took on the expression of worry as he realized that he would not only have to choose between him or Niara, but he'd also have to choose which part of them save.
Taking a deep breath, he says in as calm and serious a tone as he can muster, "We've come this far, and I did sign the waiver. I'm ready."

--- Niara was starting to feel uncomfortable when the expressions on everyponies faces turned from normal to worried and scared. She would always get easily affected by emotions and feelings from other ponies she was with and this time it almost made her start shaking. She started to think if this was a bad idea when Spirit talked about the opportunity to go back home and just forget about this. It sounded rather tempting at this point. Just as she was about to agree with Spirit and wanted to turn back, she heard Low speak up his mind that he was ready for the journey. It made it better. She wasn't totally calm but she was calm enough to give him a smile and let out a relieved sigh. If he was ready for it, she was she. "We don't have any time to lose" she said and looked at Saline with a curious look, wondering what he was doing. She tried to ignore it and focused on staying enthusiastic.

"Good and again if you see something anything let Spirit or I know. The biggest threat in here would be a sleeping bear and if that's the case I can use a sleep spell on it. Stick close together if you are a unicorn." she coughed "Key" coughing a bit more "Use your illumination spell to help light the way. Spirit has runes on paper to help. Plus I have a few spells that can help light up the areas."
As she began to walk over to the cave she looked at Saline "You have anything Zebra boy to help illuminate the area use it. Spirit will be leaving a trail of stuff behind us so we can find our way out easier as well sooo no worries have fun."

Spirit coughed once when Midnight claimed the biggest threat in there was a bear. Spirit was not a fan of lying, seeing as it took quite a bit for her to do it, herself. And really, she'd rather not keep it a secret what was going to be in there. But, she also felt that this adventure would be necessary to try and repair whatever problems were happening inside her group.
"Well, for me to make a trail, we'll need to stop every now and again for me to plant a glyph. Nopony has any problems with that, though, right?" she asked hypothetically, "Good. And... i could probably create a Bound Light Orb, too. That could help light our way..."

Saline half-listened while he stared into the dark maw of the cave. Sure, he had a biased feeling to glyphs, but he could look past it. Mostly. He blinked as his eyes slowly acclimate themselves to the darkness of the cave, which didn't help as much as he hoped. An orb of Light sounded very useful, all in all.
He looks behind him, to the group. If all thatt was REALLY in there was a bear, well, he'd have a nice pelt to fashion a tent with. It'd really spruce up the place, and be more macabre than ever. He stays silent, waiting for them to break the metaphorical bottle of champaigne against the ship, and move along.

Low raised his eyebrow at Midnight's coughing fit. Surely, she was supposed to be a mistress of subtlety. Either way, he rolled his eyes and stepped forward, flooding his horn with magic. With great ease, he cast a basic illumination spell as the tip of his horn became enveloped with a ball of bright light. Illuminating the entrance of the cave, he looked back at the others in the group, "So who's leading?"

- Niara stood behind Low and watched as he light the entrance with his magic. It was quite a pretty light, but she couldn't get unfocused about this now. She heard his question and bit her lip, looking at the others and hoped that someone would step forward. Her eyes landed on Spirit as she though it would be more reasonable to have her lead the way into the cave as well.

"Well it should come down to, Spirit in lead." she thought a bit before looking at Key and Niara "Niara with Key, Saline, then myself so we have the entire area lit up." she smiled a bit looking towards Saline "This alright with everypony? This way the light is all over, no pony trips or get lost."
[sorry for short post and long wait life lol]
